Senior Tax Specialist
Job Description:
A full-time opportunity is for a candidate looking to continue advancing their career in a public accounting firm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review complex income tax, estate tax, and informational returns.
- Assume full responsibility for accounting engagements for the preparation of tax returns.
- Tax forecasting.
- Tax research.
- Recognize client problems and develop solutions.
- Recognize possible problem areas of an engagement and assist in developing solutions.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate staff members assigned to engagements.
- Understanding of the Firm’s practices, policies, procedures, and culture.
Requirements and Skills:
- Certified Public Accountant, or Enrolled Agent with public accounting experience.
- 5+ years of experience preparing and/or reviewing complex corporate, partnership, not-for-profit, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.
- Ability to develop and maintain clients.
- High level of intelligence, integrity, honesty, motivation, and aptitude for the profession.
- Must maintain strict client confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year.*
